The top three sites I meet people off of are Okcupid, craigslist and, super sadly enough, myspace. My logic is, I can't be the only awesome person on the internet. Sadly, my logic hasn't been proven right yet, but I'm totally optimistic.
I've been taking all these quizzes over on Okcupid, including myers-briggs. I'd always been an INFJ, but for some reason when I retook the test recently the results switched my personality type to an ISFJ. (I've gone from a counselor to a nurterer.)
I found this part of the personality analysis particularly interesting...
One ISFJ trait that is easily misunderstood by those who haven't known them long is that they are often unable to either hide or articulate any distress they may be feeling. For instance, an ISFJ child may be reproved for "sulking," the actual cause of which is a combination of physical illness plus misguided "good manners." An adult ISFJ may drive a (later ashamed) friend or SO into a fit of temper over the ISFJ's unexplained moodiness, only afterwards to explain about a death in the family they "didn't want to burden anyone with." Those close to ISFJs should learn to watch for the warning signs in these situations and take the initiative themselves to uncover the problem.
As well as this one...
Much satisfaction comes to them when they are taking care of the needs of another. When the recipient is no longer in need, the relationship may change its character, the ISFJ becoming disinterested. While ISFJs are super-dependable, they may be fascinated by and attracted to the irresponsible, the lush, the glutton. Many ISFJs marry alcoholics and then proceed to conduct a rescue-rejection game without end, with the rescuing phase taking the guise of an attempt to reform.
I also took the Enneagram test and was a four (the individualist). Anais Nin was a four. So's Bob Dylan, Alanis Morrisette and Prince. I'm totally just like Prince. Man. This is awesome.
