According to German Scientist Juergen Zulley, "a lack of sleep can make you stupid, fat and sick. It weakens your memory, decreases a hormone that helps control your cravings for food and undermines the healthy function of your heart, digestive system and circulation." Sleep deprivation also "reduces the time you spend dreaming, which compromises your mental hygiene."
I would estimate I get between five and seven hours a night. If I went to bed when I should, at nine thirty, I would be getting a full eight hours (I wake up at five thirty), but I don't do that. Because I am stupid. From sleep deprivation probably.
